9. It looks like the early votes have been counted
This is the official State of Flordia website and they are reporting many counties at 100%. I don't think they would say 100% if the early vote was not included.

2. I don't see how the early vote in any state could be counted.
Most states didn't close early voting until yesterday. I heard a report earlier today that up to 16% of the estimated total had voted early. That's maybe 15 to 20 million votes. I really don't see how any of these states are being called tonight.

6. the early votes are included in the totals,
with 88% counted Bush leads 51% to 47%. It's over in Florida.

8. Not clear...
I hear mixed information from several sources. Randi Rhodes is being particularly incoherent, saying that 30% of Florida votes haven't been counted, and there are 250,000 of them.

:wtf:

I'm going to assume the larger number (1.6-1.8 million) has yet to be counted, simply because, if there wer only 250K ballots left to count, Florida would have been called for Bush already.

7. I've heard those numbers, but where are the other 9 percent?
That's way too huge for Nader and the others. Is it including people who voted, but left the presidential part blank?

11. Hey! I'm really confused!
Is it true that the early voters in FLA won't be counted until Thursday? I'm not talking about the absentee. I'm hearing so many stories about this.

10. YES. Early votes are part of the REGULAR vote tallies, I believe.
It's the ABSENTEE BALLOTS that are counted later, since many of those are not even RECEIVED until today, and they are all paper.

EARLY VOTES in Florida were electronic votes.
