Regrets from Germany
I regret the result of the election and probably most of the Germans do so. We did not await a u-turn with Kerry but we feel closer to the democrats.

Anyway, remains the hope that Bush uses the dialogue with Europe for his next desicions.I mean Europa has a need for oil as well...so if he is demanding again he has to share as well. Asking Germany for waiving the debts of Iraq and getting rich while pumping the oil there is the opposite of what I mean. ;)

1. How are the immigration prospects in Germany?
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 02:04 PM by Beacho
I was stationed there in the early nineties and loved it.

How about it?

6. I do not recommend that
Germany is at the beginning of it´s decline. Churchill´s dream will become reality lately - without any bomb.

2. Thank you very much for your kind words on this sad day.
Unfortunately, I believe things will get worse, because * actually has a more secure position, having won the popular vote.

Please don't abandon us as we prepare for our next battles.

It is important for us to know that we are not alone in this world, even if we do feel isolated in our own country.

7. I wished more Germans would read here
Since I read here I changed my opinion toward Americans - not anymore these stupid stereotypes, you know. Do not feel isolated. :)

4. Thank you and just remember that Bush was elected by a little
more, and a very little more than half of us.

5. Few hundred thousand votes in two states
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 02:16 PM by JPZenger
A few hundred thousand votes in two states made the difference - in a country with a population approaching 300 million.

In purely scientific terms, this percentage is known as the "F*ck-Up Factor".
