I like what Randi Rhodes reminds us of..
that Washington DC, New York, and PA ALL voted against bush...
well America, all you goddamn easychair, war loving,Faux watching goons, until YOUR family gets hit, you will NEVER get it!

just like its going to take YOUR sons and daughters to keep getting killed in this stupid, illegal war for you to get it, or WILL you?

1. Exactly.
But I will say this: she needs to get a grip. She's been going on and on about how she can't believe America would vote for the "status quo".

THEY DID.

People who voted for Bush* voted out of fear. All the other issues are either irrelevant or reasoned away when held up to the war on "terra".

I've talked to some of these people, including family members. They are witless and scared. All that matters is 9/11.

2. You forgot about NJ and CT as well...
Both of those states were pretty heavily affected by the WTC.

4. and its our fault for not calling bush on it
Bush's strongest point? He'll keep us safe! Trouble is he didn't. And instead of going after him for it, we layed off. Who's to blame for that?

Kerry's greatest strength? Military experience & the ability to lead. Repukes took that and tore it to pieces.

Yet we gave bush a free pass on his neglectful actions before 9/11.

So it goes.

5. Wrong, many Bush supporters are perfectly happy ...
... to see their sons and daughters die in Iraq and Afghanistan, believe they are now with god in a better place, and that they died for freedom. Blegh. With my own eyes and ears I have watched this dreadful business on local TV.

Many of the families from 9/11 are with Bush.

So I don't think that appeal goes very far, sorry.

Further, it is clear that to Bush supporters 1,000 American dead is not nearly a price too high to pay, and that Iraqi and Afghani civilian deaths are totally acceptable.

I don't know how to cope with this I just offer observations that I believe are true, if horrifying.

6. It's scary, but true.
The Bush* supporters really bought into all the terror hype.

Sadly, they'll be more than happy to send their kids into war in order to further freedom throughout the world.
