New Orleans: A Wake for Peace
1/20/05 In New Orleans - To protest in the middle of Mardi Gras season
in New Orleans, join "A Wake for Peace" Jazz Funeral for Democracy.
Make your hotel and travel reservations now. Plans include a horse drawn
carriage, bands, and funeral procession to the Mississippi River with a
finale at the Musee Conti Wax Museum, 917 Rue Conti New Orleans, where
an organizational meeting will be held on Thursday November 18th, 2004
at 6pm.

I'll repost when I have more information. I imagine they are still in the process of getting permits from the city. The city will likely decide the final route.

I did choose my nick from the club but I'm not connected with them, just like the name. :)

I used to live on Dumaine and another time on Gov. Nichols...miss Nawlins...that parade sounds beautiful.

10. yup..right next to the bourbon pub, right in front of the Oz LOL
You'd hear the club at night but it wasn't so loud that you couldn't sleep (or be passed out)
