Only Two winners in the history of the Iowa Caucus have won the Presidency. Since 18forty something.

It seems to me that 2nd tends to get a boost then go on to get the nomination.

Reagan was 2nd
McGovern was 2nd

He came in second. Undecided actually won in '76.
