Does Kerry Become the "National Security Candidate?"
Is the message coming out of Iowa that we had better nominate someone serious on National Security concerns. In other words, someone who voted for the Iraqi war?

1. I don't think that is HALF as much it as that the war vote is NOT the only
issue for most voters.

are the only viable candidates. They should probably run together, as a matter of fact. We need to load up on military and national security experience. Force the Pubbies to play defense, for crying out loud. This election is not going to be about health care. 9/11 was not just another event, we're occupying another country, spending $1 billion/week, and watching our soldiers die. Americans already trust us to do a better job with social programs. They also want to know if we'll protect them as much as they PERCEIVE Bush to be protecting us now.

The message in Iowa is electability matters. And Iowans decided a war hero is our best bet. More of that stuff to come, IMO.

3. Get the job done in Iraq, win the war on terror, crack down on
anti-American sentiment, bring the allies to heel, impose America's will, root out sleeper cells, you ain't seen nothing yet.
