1. Count on it
But we should all stand ready to repudiate inuendo, name-calling and sloppy reporting that dengrates any of our candidates. Discussion of any real issue should be expected, but when the "French-looking," "Elitist," "Cancer-ridden," "Flip-flopping," "War protesting," "pot smoking" crap starts, we should all shoot that stuff down.

2. I don't know, but
it's sure going to be interesting to see if they treat him fairly. And they sure as hell can't fault him on his military record, or say Shrub is better in that respect. I dare them to even try.

3. LOL!!
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 04:58 PM by BullGooseLoony
Boy, WILL he!!

"Kerry...I'm not sure I understand...so...you SAY you're against the war...but...you voted for it? How do you reconcile those two seemingly incompatible facts?"

"Well, Judy...yadda yadda yadda"

On edit: And then, after they nail him for having voted FOR the war, they'll nail him for being AGAINST the war. After which they'll nail him for having voted FOR the war.

4. Not yet, the media is going to keep kicking Dean down
to make sure he stays there. They are waiting to jump on Kerry until they know he is the man. Dean will kepp getting bad press until they have beaten it in to the average American that we should be happy with Bu$h co not angry. Angry is bad, making the monsters pay for their crimes and be held accountable is bad. Dean is a bad angry man and that is why he lost.

16. You know what's the positive side of this?
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 11:14 PM by SadEagle
May be the front-runner will change so much, they'd have wasted a lot of time not attacking the actual winner. I can even feel a bit better about what Dean has taken if it ends up helping the party in the end.

5. They laid it on before, they'll do it again
The press REALLY eviscerated him when his campaign was going downhill.

6. It will start soon
As soon as the new NH numbers come out and he has a big increase (possibly #2) then the arrows will fly.

8. The media who has been declaring him dead for months
so his fundraising dried up? Sure.

Kerry's been on the GOPs enemy list since Nixon. Kerry is now running for president. He is responsible for permanently tainting the legacy of Reagan and Bush due to his investigations. They despise him.

You think he has EVER had it easy in the press?

9. Constantly now. The right-wing media
will shoot down Kerry, Clark, Edwards, and leave Dean alone.. As a result, Dean will rise again from the ashes like a phoenix.

10. Let's hope so. He so richly deserves it.
I hope they rake him over the coals for his cynical war vote.
