3. I can never get any of their archived stuff to work

In Internet Explorer I just get a "cannot find server" page and Opera gives me a "this type of link isn't supported" error message.

Is there some trick to getting their archived footage to play?

and sell it. Make the proceeds to support whatever she needs them for. That was damned good television. I'd pay to watch her rip Condi a new one any day of the week!
