Dividing us
and dividing the U.S.

Most of us on DU have in common a desire to
have everyone see the truth about this
administration, all it's nooks and crannys.
We spend time, energy and emotions trying
to send the message out.

Most of us on DU have a strong desire to
see the idea of America, democracy and justice
prevail.

and most of us on DU want to see
elections that aren't rigged and the best
candidate for the job win fairly and squarely.

But there are some who want to divide us
further and their intentions are beyond
fighting for their candidate. I would guess
that some who have 1,000 and more posts
came into DU in the last divisive election period,
easily dissing a Democratic or progressive
candidate, but they are far from wanting the above goals.

I am not for being sheeple, but keep
in mind that not all are fighting a fair fight
and their Rovian intentions are to divide us.

1. I Have Often Thought ...
... that honorary memeberships to the Republican Party should be awarded to those who spend their time fomenting and carrying on Democratic Party squabbles. There is plenty of room here for differences of opinion, but it should always be done with the real enemy in mind. We certainly wouldn't want to help them.

3. So there are Dems who oppose the 1st Amendment..
I refuse to be a sheep following the Dem Establishment herd to damnation, so I the secretary of my town's Dem Committee will crticize Dems, like my senator Joe Lieberman, who I will not vote for ever again, as well as the Bush Admin and support more honest and fair elections.
