God, I despise Republican prigs

I'm watching them congratulate themselves Ad Nauseum on the floor of the House via C-Span for passing the REAL-ID Act (attached to the War Appropriations Bill... along with plenty of pork). Shameful!

(I watched them pass that badly written bill with very little debate the first time as H.R. 418, and it was sickening.) It looked as if it might die in the Senate, but now... we're most likely going to be stuck with a potentially dangerous law!

The only saving grace would be if ALL the states refuse to implement it!

Of course, we're still going to be stuck with the unprecedented, possibly dictatorial (and probably unconstitutional) Section 102!

Gee, I seem to recall that the GOP thought that was just the absolute worst thing those out-of-touch Beltway elites could do to the common citizenry. Force states to pay for programs that arose out of the fevered minds of lobbyists and sycophants in Washington DC! Why, the Republic totters to contemplate such governmental perfidy!

But that was 1994, this is now.
