I've heard a LOT of incendiary rhetoric over the last four years or so, and seen damn little action to back it up. The Republicans rule the roost 55-45 in the Senate, and even if one or two of them defect on Bolton, the rest will line up like the good little Eichmanns they are and support the popular war-time president and his batty nominations.

Bolton's in unless the Democrats filibuster. All the talk in the committee about how unqualified Bolton is but we'll send his nomination on to the full Senate anyway is mere grandstanding and window dressing. Boxer can say all kinds of great things, but short of invoking the filibuster, Bolton will be our next ambassador to the UN and quickly confirm all the worst things the committee heard about him.
