GRENADE, PRESIDENT TURN OUT TO BE PHONY
Fake Weapon No Threat to Fake Leader, Security Officials SayA hand grenade hurled in the direction of President George W. Bush in Tbilisi, Georgia on Tuesday caused a momentary scare among security personnel in the former Soviet republic until it was determined that the grenade, and the president himself, were both phony.

<snip>
“The grenade posed no real threat at all,” said a top Georgian security official. “Much like Iraq in March of 2003.”

But White House spokesman Scott McClellan confirmed reports that a phony plan to fix Social Security had been discovered late Tuesday afternoon on the president’s desk in the Oval Office.

After the fake plan was spotted by a sharp-eyed administrative assistant, a bomb squad was brought in to detonate the phony document in a safe and controlled manner.

2. LOL---not bad

I was reading some of the other stuff on there, this quote caught my eye

The Defense Secretary said that the decision to invade Iraq could no longer be considered “a boneheaded mistake of unthinkable proportions” and should now be thought of as “a colossal error we will regret for years to come.”

3. I like that one too....how about these lines
Tongues began wagging after President Bush greeted the Saudi prince at his Crawford, Texas ranch today with a passionate hug and a kiss, igniting rumors that the two men were more than just good friends.

Former Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry, who was accused of being overly affectionate in public with his then-running mate, Sen. John Edwards, while on the 2004 campaign trail, was one of the first to note the steamy display between Mr. Bush and Prince Abdullah.

“John and I looked pretty gay, I’ll admit, but not as gay as these two,” said Mr. Kerry. “I was like, get a room!”
