Eileen McMenamin and Ronald Brownstein

Eileen Nicole McMenamin, the communications director for Senator John McCain of Arizona, was married on May 7 to Ronald Brownstein, a political correspondent and columnist based in Washington for The Los Angeles Times. The Rev. Linda M. Venniro, a nondenominational minister, officiated at the Anthem Country Club in Henderson, Nev.

Ms. McMenamin, 34, is keeping her name. She was until February a producer in Washington for the CNN news program "Inside Politics With Judy Woodruff." She graduated from American University. She is the daughter of Anne and James A. McMenamin of Davidsonville, Md. Her father retired as the audiovisual coordinator of the Naval Media Center, the Navy's publications and multimedia office in Washington. Her mother is a secretary at Prince George's Community College in Largo, Md.

Mr. Brownstein, 47, is also a political analyst in Washington for CNN. He is the author of "The Power and the Glitter: The Hollywood-Washington Connection" (Pantheon, 1990). He graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton. His previous marriage ended in divorce.

He is a son of Shirley Brownstein of Henderson and the late David Brownstein. His father was an electrician for Local 3 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Flushing, Queens.
