B*sh won't talk about Rove b/c they are thinking of another lie to spread
He is trying to catapult the propaganda but needs new talking points.

He can't think on his own, nor can McClellan, so Rove has to make up even bigger lies to cover his current ones that committed treason.

These jerks just keep spinning and spinning and eventually their whole house of cards will come crashing down.

Personally, I think the WH is scared sh*tless and are hoping that the Corporate Media helps them out again, like they've done countless times in the past.

1. The new lie is that Wilson is a partisan hack, and Rove is...
that's right. A brave whistleblower. It's already making the rounds in the rightwing echo chamber of the Weekly Standard, the WSJ's editorial page, and so on. Wilson, by their standards, was a viciously partisan liberal who smeared Bush with false claims in the NYTimes in an effort to turn people against the possible war in Iraq. Rove then bravely stepped forward with information to show that Wilson could not be trusted.
That's the new spin.

2. Yup...
they're spinning and spinning. They're probably also wondering at what point they cut their losses, and what kind of Rove departure will suffice to silence the critics.

I still bet Rove will resign saying that the absurd heat on the White House because of this issue is distracting the President from urgent matters which face him, like the war on Terror, Securing the futures of our seniors, cutting the defecit in half by 2009, etc. etc. etc.

The White House is weighing whether or not this will be enough. Every day they stall makes it worse. I hope to God that George Jr. DOESN'T fire Rove because this will just get bigger and bigger until it takes everyone down.

That is, unless they can come up with a good distraction.

4. Actually, they are stonewalling
They're hoping for another disaster so that it drowns out the Rove story. Quick! Look over there!

God, I hope nothing happens. :scared:
