Is anyone from the Department of Justice commenting on Gonzales and either backing up and stepping away from his claim that it was okay to wait until morning to notify people? Is this true?
Why did he "bother" his lawyers that night to check on whether it was okay to wait, but not "bother" the WHITE HOUSE STAFF until the morning?
Below is a link to an article with some of his quotes from Sunday - I hate to post and run- but I have to get my daughter to camp - I will check back in an hour or so - hopefully someone knows - because that question is really bothering me.

"I specifically had our lawyers go back to the Department of Justice lawyers and ask them, 'Do you want us to notify the staff now, immediately, or would it be okay to notify the staff early in the morning?' And we were advised, go ahead and notify the staff early in the morning, that would be okay." He said most of the staff had left by the time the Justice Department called and that "no one knew about the investigation."
