Bush's popularity by state in "Red/Blue" format.
SurveyUSA puts it into stunning perspective by using the "red-blue" standard from the past few presidential elections:

If you're a Republican running for office, you'd better start thinking long and hard about drinking any more of the Kool-Aid. Unless your Chimperor can pull off a new "turriss" attack, you clowns are toast in '06.

2. Now we need to pin down the rest of the red states.
The complete and utter annihilation of the rethuglican mafia is the only possible solution. There is no room for "compromise" or "amnesty."

The entire Republican Party must be arrested and put on trial in the Hague.

and some of those red states are only approving of Bush by a percentage point or two and some of those blue states only disapprove of him by a percentage point or two.

5. the state-by-state breakdown is even more telling...
that's done by approval ratings. In 35 of the 50 states, his Disapproval rating is 50% or greater - that to me shows there isnt much sitting on the fence. People have about had enough of him. Even in Georgia, Colorado, Kansas, Arizona, South Carolina, Virginia... most of the people disapprove of him. Looking good for 2006!

And personal gratification for me, Rick Santorum is 99th of 100 for approval ratings in the Senate. Bye, Bye Virginian! Take your kids and move out - oh wait, you already did!

worried over whether gas will be available for the trip. It's not looking good at this point.

I live to see scumtorum out of office! NW Pa. is a mess thanks to scumtorum and English. I will do everything I can to see them fired, though would prefer to see them in prison.

Hope to see you in DC!

I laugh everytime spell check tries to replace scumtorum with santorum, even it knows scum when it reads it! lol

AZ has a real chance to overcome Maricopa Cty and go blue in '06, as our Rep critters are almost universally Bushbots.

29. Rubber Stamp! Rubber Stamp
Every democrat running in '06 needs to call his opponent a rubber stamp for W, every one of them.

Every one of them needs to run ads tying the cong/senator to W and pound that message home, just like the pugs did in '94 when Clinton was at his lowest in the polls.

16. People! your losing faith in paperless Diebold machines - 2006 they
will be working double-time! you can paint that map solid BLUE and they'll do it again -- they've already done it twice so they know how you'll respond.
(summary) without election reform we have no chance of winning!

PS. And after Babs Bush claims she's inherited another president (In Clinton) I wouldn't put much stock in Hillary.

31. Doesn't it just make ya crazy?
I lived in Big D from '94 to '97, and after those three years (which saw the ushering in of W to the governor's mansion) it was almost like reaching a LIBERAL state to return to Oklahoma!

Not quite, but almost.

Ya know, I think mebbe W's crew may have mastered election-stealing way back then, come to think of it. I mean, everyone was stunned when he "beat" Ann Richards for governor, weren't they?

Hmmm......

I remember a bumper sticker on a monster pickup parked in the lot at my apartment in Dallas:

"SO LITTLE TIME, SO MANY PEDESTRIANS!"

Wonder if any of the colors on that map really WILL change after the way Deaf-and-Dumbya's handled this catastrophe called Katrina?? He puts Nero to shame.

Gonna be a reeeeelly scary night tonight in The Big Easy......
