DeLay indictment: Who ELSE might be caught by "following the money"?
Courts have broad powers to investigate actual crimes after indictments have been handed down. Like Dubya, Richard Nixon had escaped accountability for many dishonest and illegal foreign policy escapades. Nixon's "Teflon" began to erode only after the Watergate burglars were arrested. Ultimately, Woodward and Bernstein traced evidence of money in the possession of the burglars to the Committee to Re-Elect the President, and from there to the White House and Nixon himself.

Does DeLay's indictment have the same potential to metastisize into a "cancer on the pResidency"? Interestingly, the main piece of evidence in the DeLay case once again comes from "following the money".

What other Washingron figures could be implicated in this scandal, in addition to DeLay?

3. Great site! It's got enough leads for TEN Woodward-Bernstein investigators
But does the MSM have even ONE team of investigative journalists that's up to the standard the Washington Post set during Watergate?

5. "Follow the money" is urban legend. albeit a good one...
"Deep Throat" never actually advised Woodward and Bernstein to "follow the money". That term was added later by some Hollywood scriptwriter for the movie.

But even so, as it turns out, Tinseltown was spot on.
