A disastrous comment by Santos and then a great comeback
Talking about the West Wing, of course, which mirrors reality almost too much that I can understand why its numbers are plummeting. Who wants to see the same stuff as in real life, when all one wants is sheer escapism?

Anyway, a reporter asked Catholic Santos his opinion on Intelligent Design. He was on his way out, but returned and said: I believe in god and I know he is intelligent.

Oh no!! Josh looked like he was hit be a lightning.

But then he was asked again, by an English teacher and first he said the same thing then, when asked about teaching it, he said that evolution is based on scientific finding and should be taught in science class, while IG is based on faith and has no place in science class.

This, by the way, is what I thought he should say so I was glad that we are in agreement...

And, I wish that Kerry replied in a similar line when he was asked about abortion and started by saying that his faith forbids it, etc.
