WSJ and John Fund reveal promise on Roe vote by Miers....
On Oct. 3, the day the Miers nomination was announced, Mr. Dobson and other religious conservatives held a conference call to discuss the nomination. One of the people on the call took extensive notes, which I have obtained. According to the notes, two of Ms. Miers's close friends--both sitting judges--said during the call that she would vote to overturn Roe.

1. Well, now the extremists will be happy,
and we need to redouble our efforts to flush her.

8. I would guess her sole purpose is to get in and vote against Roe.....
Being a crony, and a gushing sycophant, she would be the kind of justice most likely take marching orders rather than independently thinking...about the most dangerous kind of nominee there could be.....

10. I also think she would be there to protect the regime
against the coming indicments and impeachments. This is even more dangerous.

20. And to act as backup for future doctored elections....
They already appointed one president...it could happen again.

6. What was that story about Fund getting his girlfriend pregnant that was
in the news a couple years ago, btw?

IIRC, even though Fund is a republican, he does believe in Choice.

11. Only for the daughter of his fiancee, who he impregnated.
Otherwise, he is ANTI-choice.

15. No, it was either statutory rape, or child molestation.
She was like 13-14. Shockingly, the fiancee left him over that.

17. They kept him off news shows for a while,
but THAT'S IT. Since he's a right-winger, he wasn't even investigated.
Just one of the reasons I despise him so.

9. These recent "born agains" are the most zealous on these issues....
and the most dangerous. Just like folks who recently quit smoking or drinking, they are evangelical know it alls who just can't help getting up in your face, and in your life....

12. Doesn't this mean that she should have to answer questions....
about what she'd do about Roe during her hearings? If the WH is talking up this issue so specifically I don't see any reason why she should be able to get away with not answering.

But she'll get away with it, they always do.
