3. That one too. We'll see both all day.
Call me mad, but I'll bet both of these situations will serve to boost his approval ratings.

More of that regular guy stuff.

9. He reminds me of Johnny Carson completing his monologue on
that door exit.

He'd probably have made a better comedian.

2. I guess he doesn't want our team to win the Gold
I can only imagine the catcalls from the Right that we would hear if Bill Clinton went jogging with the Chinese cross-country team.

Being completely out off breath and the secret services ordered the photographers to stop taking pictures? 5 minutes?

7. Actually, the picutres I am seeing all this morning are of his
bungled exit strategy at the end of his press conference in China. Over and over, with the appropriate snickers by whatever news achor person is showing it.

With image-making antics like this from Fearless Leader Bushie:

Sunglasses, gloves and helmet on, he rode away before the other riders had even pulled their bikes off the rack. So Bush — who usually rides out of sight of reporters or cameras — made a few wide loops in front of the waiting media crowd and joked about being a showoff.

Good thing there are no doors on a bike trail.

11. He seems more concerned about his mountain biking......
than with the safety and security of our country. How many pictures of the Chimp riding the bicycle do we really need to see? Even in the 50's when television was in it's infancy, the "monkeys riding bicycles" phenomenon lasted only a few months until people got bored of it.

21. Good comparison. I wonder which of the Chinese athletes fell off of his
bike on purpose so that the shrub could cross the finish line first?

Martin Mull would make a good Bush in a movie, come to think of it.
