4. We sold nasty chemicals to Saddam in his war with Iran.
Delivery boy Don Rumsfeld was there in person.

I think it is dangerous to believe anything that comes out of the mouths of the freepers, Rumsfeld, Perle, Feith, etc. They are practiced liars with a very dark agenda.

Some Iraqi ex-general wrote a book claiming that they shipped all them WMD to syria. It is utter bullshit.

the US invasion. This was in the MSM in 2003.

11. naw...
Brewster Jennings had the bead on wmd's on their way INTO Iraq FROM syria with some pretty funny credentials and Italian paperwork... so the mission was aborted and poor little Judy was stuck there in the desert with no dessert.

20. I'm sorry that you were lied to and that you chose to believe the lies.
The pre and post war inspections did not find any evidence of illegal weapons or weapons programs. That included any evidence that weapons and their storage and production facilities were somehow dismantled and moved elsewhere without our 24/7 spy systems detecting such an endeavor.

29. Why do you believe that Saddam would not use the WMDs
If he was such a super threat that was going to use WMDs on america why didn't he? Why would he hide them or give them to another country. He knew it would not stop the US from invading his country. Your argument has absolutely no Logic what so ever.

32. Uh, who's arguing. I'm stating an opinion.
Like I said from the research I did last year I believe there may be some validity to the report. In addition DO NOT PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH. I never said that Iraq was a super threat. I never believed they were. They were however working with Russia and Syria on weopons. In a recent Norm Chomsky article he stated that there were large weopons caches in Iraq which the US aparently let insurgents loot. In addition I never said W.M.D.s. In addition I am on your side. I am working to Impeach Bush.

33. You are not listening.
The pre and post invasion inspections found no evidence at all of the existence of any weapons faciliities or production capabilities or even research programs that could in the future produce any banned weapons. The lone exception was a missile that arguably went something like 10K too far, identified by the UN team we kicked out of Iraq just prior to our invasion.

You might continue to believe that Iraq had WMD (or more precisely banned weapons, as it certainly had no actual weapons of MASS destruction at any time past or present.) You can also choose to believe in the tooth fairy. What you cannot do is provide a rational basis, as in physical evidence, for that belief of yours. Instead you are left arguing that you have 'a variety of reasons' or that the unsubstantiated and self serving words of a former Iraqi general are more valid than the efforts of our own post invasion inspection teams.

14. Yeah, he was on Hannity
and he said Hussein got rid of all the WMDs to Syria in 2002 - so even if true that Hussein had them, he didn't have them when we invaded.

Unfortunately, Hannity's audience is too STOOPID to count - "2002: weapons gone; 2003: invade Iraq. Oh, yes, we invaded for the WMDs!!!"

25. Hate Radio
I was hearing this from my VERY Republican ex right from the start of the war.
Since just about every stupid thing he says seems to come from Rush Limbaugh or Howie Carr or Sean Hannity or (insert any other RW morons name here), I just always assumed thats where it originated.

One good thing about RW radio though...it has proven itself to be an astoundingly reliable bullshit barometer.
