George Bush: "military action would follow anyway"
This part of the new revelation regarding the Bush/Blair meeting on Iraq in Jan 2003 seems particularly offensive:

"President Bush said that:

"The US would put its full weight behind efforts to get another resolution and would 'twist arms' and 'even threaten'. But he had to say that if ultimately we failed, military action would follow anyway.''"

What does this revolting piece of crap have to do to turn the American people against him? When will the media finally wake up?

1. VERY pertinent questions. A hell of a lot of blame for the Bush
administration's atrocities must be laid at the feet of the sheep who support him in Cincinnati, Nashville, Colorado Springs, etc.

Shame on them for letting him desecrate the Constitution.

2. When , and how, does "owned" media wake up?
The people in the media work for their paychecks. Who owns what you are calling media, overall?

We no longer have much of anything you could call a "free press" in the mainstream. No, it is all bought and very well payed for. Where "free" used to refer to open-minded, critical thinking and in-depth, unbiased analysis, it now only relates to the enshrined concept of capitalistic dogma. Free vs. bought and payed for. Owned!

At this stage in the game, would it be too condescending to say that expectations for the waking up of that corporate whore we call media, is rather naive? Comprehending the nature of propaganda by inclusion AND exclusion of carefully manipulated information from the top-down, seems to be a vital, first step in solving any problems we face.

If you rely on the "Massa'" to tell you what freedom and truth are, then you are certainly going to remain a slave, even if you are assured and convinced that your situation is a fair and balanced result of the almighty market and, maybe even, a Higher Power.

It is time for those who have opened their sleep-encrusted eyes a bit to see the glimmerings behind the veil. Every good dog instinctively shakes the muddy water off after after emerging from the pond. Shake it all off, start from scratch, and take a new, clear, reasonable look at what is going on.

Its time to stop, children, what's that sound? Everybody, look what's going down!
