Obviously Cunningham is going down.

Sounds like several others are at growing risk: Doolittle, Lewis, Pombo, Hunter... any others?

What about congressional folks in other areas?

1. Those of us in Blue areas need to link up with Democrats
in Red areas and see what we can do to support their campaigns for Blue candidates. What is the deal on David Dreier? It would be good to finally get a change of representatives in that district. Did he receive any Abramoff money? It would not surprise me, but then I haven't heard about it.

2. I am no longer in California
and was in a very dem region when there - though there was one district in San Jose that was briefly held by a republican (I think that Mike Honda ousted him). It would be a great idea for folks to help out where needed (red districts).

Don't know that Drier has strong Abramoff connections - but I recall reading a few sarcastic comments per his "suitability" for leading the House lobbying reform effort.

I can't recall the repubs name, but there was some a-hole republican congressman from north of SF whose office peppersprayed nonviolent protesters - that guy was a real prize. Don't know if he is still in the House...
