.. and a major cash cow for Nabisco. They sell three boxes for every man ,woman and child in the USA annually.

Your link provides a comparison between defense spending and poverty spending. It says nothing about wheter or not anti-poverty spending is at an all time high, which is what I was asking about. More importantly, I was looking for some hard government sourced numbers, not a cartoon. I've manage to go to the OMB website and verify the 2005 numbers in the Heritage post, and they look accurate. I'm not sure about the 2000 numbers because it looks like they were inflation adjusted. I haven't figured it all out yet, but any help you can add would be appreciated.

That's exactly what condi used to do down south, when she was young... Then, one day an oreo got hung... It wedged itself right between her two front teeth and ever since that day, she's been know as oreo cookie condi here in alabama.

Being a dumb sort of country boy type, I don't quite understand why northern folks call her an oreo cookie, though. Can anyone explain it to me?
