6. yes, BushCo is sending his message of "freedom" to the oppressed.
Unfortunately he doesn't mention they'd be trading one type of oppression for another.

3. We invade Cuba and the following will happen . . .
1. Venezuela turns off the oil tap.
2 Russia will begin backing tehran, just to make the point that bygonnes are not truly bygonnes
3. A bunch of Cubans are gonna die killing a bunch of Americans.
4. All diplomatic relations with central and south america will go ever further into the crapper, as if they can they get much deeper.

11. Sure
Cuba would be an ideal place to exploit pliable, brokerable Catholic Fascism as a 'democratic' alternative for corrupt domination by a 'broad based' GOP style "Political" Party! Ooops, forgot, seems like the corrupt, exploitative religious fascist Batista's already lost that one for us...

Of course we'd never want to establish a secular Republic of Liberty like our own there, because the hated 'socialist' representatives of working people would surely win that one too...

17. CNN is just pimp for the White House and you bought into it!
Castro has called Posada the Western Hemisphere's worst terrorist and accuses the United States of planning to free him from a detention center in El Paso, Texas, where he is being held on immigration charges.

I have to agree with Castro on that!

I guess our future is if we (those in power who lie to us) don't like you we can spread summore democracy around...that is unless we stay our (dems) course of the enlightenment of truth!

becoming deeply involved in an elaborate web of lies that led to the inescapable conclusion that military industrial tyrants controlling our unconstitutional CIA Mafia were deeply implicated in the assassination of an unpliable, uncooperative President-slave.

21. Nixon's coded reference to the Kennedy Assassination....
Was "Bay of Pigs."

The invasion was planned under Eisenhower & Nixon. Kennedy went through with it, but declined US military support.

Cuba has a huge civil militia in addition to their military. Well trained. Dedicated to the revolution plus well educated as to the US's history of oppressing Cuba - and wanting none of it.

It wouldn't be a cake walk and it would start out worse than Iraq (remember that the Iraqis waited a few months before realizing what the US was up to - Cubans know what the US is up to already).

19. I think they'll wait until Castro passes...
and then install a US friendly regime under the guise of fair elections. If the US invaded Cuba, there will undoubtably be much bloodshed. Keep in mind that many American-Cubans here in the US still have relatives and friends in Cuba. Most don't want to see bloodshed there which might hurt loved ones. I suspect an invasion would make even the pro-Repuke American Cubans in MIami turn on the Repukes.

20. ..if history recalls. CUBA would not be a cakewalk..but turn into another

..quagmire of guirila operations from the deeply jungled hills in Cuba. And although we would have air and land superior fire power, we would become locked in a endless ocupation..
