The thing I think is funny about the isolationins thing with Bush. It is amazing that in the 70s when Bush and his were young men they chose self isolationism. It is interesting that now that they are old men and cannot be recurited into the military they seem to have lost their support for isolationism. How is it that Bush now wants to speak about isolationism as a bad thing when as a young person he decided to skip out on the Vietnam War. When he was a young man the President did not seem to eager to fight in foreign wars.
1. Supposedly he did support Vietnam. Just didn't want to go himself.
Typical elitist white chickenhawk. Tom Delay made a quip about it when questioned about not serving. He said that the poor kids and Blacks had taken all the Vietnam slots.
I heard about Tom Delay's comment a few years ago and I just wonder how people can vote for a guy who says something like this. It is obvious that he was lying. I just do not understand people could support someone who comes up with that lame of an excuse as to why he did not go to Vietnam.
