George winced and let out a sharp gasp, surprised at the strength of the older man’s grip. “Had enough?” Dick sneered in that gruff voice of his.

Without warning, Dick slammed George to the mat, leaving his boss flat on his back. Dick dropped down in pursuit, when his knee brushed against something stiff. Looking down, he noticed a familiar outline in George’s sweatpants. “What the hell -- ?” he began, but just as suddenly broke off… there was a softness now in George’s eyes, a tenderness he hadn’t seen since that long-ago night in Crawford.

“Dick…” George whispered huskily.

“Shh…” Dick put a thick finger over George’s lips. “You don’t have to say anything. Just roll over and show me your undisclosed location.”
