I am still fixated on the whole shoe bomb idea.

So, was the "terrorist" expecting to take off his shoes, somehow get them to the cockpit door, run to the back of the plane, detonate them, run to the front of the plane and enter the cockpit?

The two buildings most "parallelling" the Twin Towers in NY in visibility (and I think the same builders)...were the Twin Towers in Century City. After 9/11, many actually worried there would be an attack there. Security (bag/briefcase screening of all entering) went on for months there.

The LIBRARY building (closely sandwiched between all those other high-rises in downtown L.A....and not exactly a high-visibility popular Landmark)...is highly unlikely as even being on a list of Top 10's.

The fact that the Prez mis-named it, wrongly quoted it as the tallest building in the city, and the Mayor of L.A. knew nothing of it...are ALL highy suspicious.

Just an excuse for more Homeland Security/wire-tapping useage.
