Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Survey
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC)has a survey up, they want to know what you're interested in, what you do when you visit the DCCC, and what matters to you as an American and as a Democrat.

I made some comments about how we have to stop allowing our Senator and House members to vote like Republicians, and how our party HAS to UNITE and start speaking with one united voice. Here is a chance for DU members to tell them what you thought about the Alito debacle and the 18 or 19 that wouldn't support Mr Kerry in his effort to filibuster. :rant:HERE: http://www.dccc.org/get_involved/dccc_survey_02102006

1. I already answered and told them what I thought on two points
Question 9: Why do they think the Democratic Party can only handle one issue at a time.

Question 10: Who came out with this list of leaders (OK for Dean, Reid, and Pelosi) but whose idea was that to include Obama and Carville (as much as I like the first one, he is not exactly a leader) and not a lot of more obvious names: Feingold, Conyers, Kennedy, Kerry, Boxer, ...

Good point about the Alito debacle as well.

3. Agree - also question for most important issue
doesn't have Iraq.

I wrote in Kerry. Carville is not a party leader - he's not even a good Democratic advocate. Takes a bit of chutzpah for Emanual to list himself, but ignore the President he worked for and the last nominee.

6. I filled it out...but wondered how they can vouch for the accuracy of the
information they are getting. Why wouldn't a bunch of Freeps go over there and fill out whatever they wanted to?

I think it's just to get your e-mail so they can solicit you. (and I already get that from John Kerry in my e-mail box) But, I filled it out.

8. Write in some truth (impeachment, John Conyers, filibuster)
Let them know that they're just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

10. my response ...
You are badly out of touch with the electorate and it's killing our Party ... i resent your elitism ... you need to push for better dialog among candidates, elected reps and voters ...

And, if you think you can run without focussing on foreign policy, as your survey demonstrates you're trying to do, you might as well give up now ...

I will not give you a penny ... my money is going directly to progressive Democrats who demonstrate leadership ...

Finally, I don't like your interference, BEFORE THE PRIMARY, in the PA senate race ... It's disgraceful you're supporting an ANTI-CHOICE candidate ...

Please do NOT add me to your email lists (or any other list) ...
