Alert: MSM Characterizing HRC as "Shrill" - What is that Message Really ?
Edited on Fri Feb-10-06 06:14 PM by radio4progressives
Regulars here know I'm no fan of HRC and I really hope she does not run for 2008 for many reasons which have been enumerated with enough redundancy to have made my personal concerns understood.

But none of those concerns have anything to do what-so-ever with any notion that she is "too shrill" or "too angry", and so once again we see more MANIPULATION through the FCMSM by the powers that be, who are keenly interested in maintaining the status quo.

Characterizing the MoveOn.org Special Prosecution ad as "far left extreme" is yet another example of the same.

Recently, there have been many calls for media activism, I'm glad to see it because the media IS the issue, no matter where your personal political plumb line falls on the political spectrum - we absolutely must have truth and accuracy in reporting and accountability in the media in order to have serious news, and honest analysis/debate on the issues concerning our nation and our national politics. Reforming the media is just as imperative for our democracy as reforming elections, lobbying, election campaign funding and so on.

Those that control the media control the message, our culture, our politics, our history, and our democracy.

please go to link below to see how you can be a part of the movement to reform the media and reclaim our democracy:

3. They're practicing their talking points
She's shrill, she's angry and I wouldn't be surprised if they started calling her witchy.

They'll throw whatever they can at her and hope that all or some of it sticks.

The Repugs are very good at this. Sad baut true.

5. they've been at it for a long time. a few years ago i came across terrible
photos of HRC being depicted as a Female Hitler and so on.

We know what their objective is on the one hand.. but those on the left are also being manipulated by the same message - not about Hillary - using her to get to their real point is that the Left is "too angry" and "too shrill" about our positions against this administration, against the war and the whole list of our concerns which they never want to see addressed or changed.

for MoveOn to be charachterized as "far left", (when they are just barely left)reminds me of the kind of weird debates that go on here.

The perspective is skewed deliberately and in the extreme.

7. Yeah, yeah. And if she softens, they'll say she's weak.
They are so good at this. And they have hundreds of RW talking heads to hammer home the message.
