Eyes Wide Open Boots in Robert Cray’s new music video
http://www.afsc.org

AFSC’s Eyes Wide Open exhibit is featured in the blues musician Robert Cray’s new music video. The song, “Twenty,” from Cray’s Grammy-nominated album of the same name, commemorates the soldiers whose lives are “used up” by the Iraq war.

4. We saw the Eyes Wide Open exhibit
when it was in Seattle. I wish they would put it up on the White House Lawn.

:kick: for the morning crowd.

5. The video was filmed the day before the exhibit came to Boston.
I was fortunate enough to be on the Boston team.

We set up on Boston Common, right behind the Park Street MBTA station on 11/3:

The exhibit was broken down Saturday afternoon, and set up again in Copley Square on Monday, 11/7:

6. That Video Speaks For Itself
That is one of the most haunting images I have ever seen, and Robert Cray has really captured the heartbreaking times we are living in.

It's a beautiful piece of music, but it hurts to listen to it, and it is painful to watch the video.

Thank You Mr. Cray.

I only wish that we lived in a world where it was unnecessary for you to have ever been inspired to do such a piece.
