Wasn't Tweety connected to Abramoff charity?
Wasn't there a story about Tweety and an Abramoff charity? Wouldn't it be a joy to see Matthews destroyed along with this sleaze? There is a 4 page story out in LA Times today about Abramoff's so called charities.

In his own way, disgraced super-lobbyist Jack Abramoff engaged in many charitable endeavors over the course of his decade-long career as a Washington insider.

There was the time he laundered money through a religious group's accounts to try to bribe a congressional aide. He diverted funds from a youth athletic foundation to bankroll a golf junket for a congressman and to bolster the bank account of his Washington restaurant. He used two other nonprofits to line his own pockets with millions of dollars defrauded from clients.....

2. Yes
He M.C.ed @ least 2 fundraisers for the Capital Athletic Foundation, which as the article points
out was a front that Jack used to funnel and launder money for different organizations. I don't
know if Tweety got paid or not.

3. CAF was nothing but a slush fund for GOP dirty-tricks operations
It was no more legitimate than the Mexican bank accounts through which Nixon's CREEP paid the White House Plumbers unit. Less than one-percent of CAF's revenues went to support athletic programs for inner-city kids.

Tweety had to have some idea. He should be subpoenaed.
