4. Libby was indicted for lying

He wasn't even indicted for outing Plame. Is there a new story that Fitz has now said that he thinks that was a crime too?

As far as the process goes, it doesn't matter if it was a crime or not, it matters whether Fitz thinks it was a crime or not and then decides to indict someone.

8. The crime that Fitz was called into look @ was the outing of a CIA

agent. This was done @ the request of the CIA. Libby has testified under oath and
in court that Cheney instructed him to out Plame.

Outing a covert agent is a very serious crime ALL government officials sign a document
that tells them that outing an agent will result in criminal prosecution.

Libby lied in order to thwart Fitz's investigation into the primary crime he was called into
look at so his he did not needed to be charges w/ the outing.

appear he's proven to be more willing to "help the authorities with their enquiries" (as the Brits say). At least that's what it sounds like--like he's started singing his swan song! SG

17. Yes it looks like he is cooperating

And there haven't really been any leaks from the Fitz investigation which is good. So who knows what is going on behind the scenes at the new Grand Jury. Why a new GJ? Makes you wonder what will happen when Fitz finally goes public again.

But I have noticed in my fairly short time here that people seem to get way ahead of the actual news and start celebrating things that end up never happening. Its a reoccurring pattern.
