3. Think Progress has him circled.
Think Progress: BREAKING: First Abramoff/Bush Photo Published

In the picture, President Bush is talking with Cheif Raul Garza of the Kickapoo tribe of southwest Texas. The New York Times, which published the photo, reports:

The picture leaves unanswered questions about how Mr. Abramoff and the tribal leader, whom he was trying to sign as a client, gained access to a meeting with the president on the White House grounds that was ostensibly for a group of state legislators who were supporting Mr. Bush’s 2001 tax cut plan.

The photo of Abramoff with Bush at a private meeting undermines White House claims that any meetings between the two occured at “widely attended” holiday parties. The White House has confirmed the picture’s authenticity.

UPDATE: Time Magazine has more details on the meeting:
Talking about the photo, Abramoff has told friends, “I was standing right next to the window and after the picture was taken, the President came over and shook hands with me, and we chatted and joked.” A photograph of that scene as described by Abramoff was shown to TIME two weeks ago.

The TIME article also features a color version of the photo where Karl Rove is visible. It leads with a discussion of the Abramoff emails, first published by ThinkProgress.

4. limited hangout
this is minimally damaging, since is lets them portray abramoff as just one of many in a crowd that once was in the same room as shrub.

you can bet they have quite a few more damaging photos they're hiding.

6. Probably released
to distract from Libby, but nothing they do can have that effect any more. The Bush administration is in crisis management mode.

11. I found this pic on another site:

They're saying it's Abramoff. I looked for the original, but couldn't find it.
Maybe one of you knows how to enhance it, so we can get a better look.

12. White House Acknowledges Abramoff Photo

White House Acknowledges Abramoff Photo

WASHINGTON - The White House on Sunday acknowledged the authenticity of the first photograph made public that shows President Bush and embattled lobbyist Jack Abramoff, while stressing it does not mean the two had a personal relationship.

Snip...

White House spokesman Allen Abney said the photo was taken in 2001, when the president dropped by a meeting of about two dozen state legislators to thank them for supporting tax relief.

Originally, the White House said it had no record of Abramoff's attendance at the meeting.

Snip...

Bush has said that he had his picture taken with Abramoff an unknown number of times, but he doesn't remember any of them.
