Clark and Depleted Uranium...

Could someone tell me where Clark currently stands on the use of depleted uranium?

This is basically all I could dig up. Has his position changed?

Ideologically he's pretty well entrenched in the assumptions and predispositions of the National Security State. Of course one would need to be to achieve the rank he has. It means going through alot of hurdles to prove yourself worthy of brass.

But let me ask you......What do you know about DU?

What about other politicians? What do they say about it? What is say....Mark Warner's stance on DU? John Kerry's? John Edwards? etc..., etc....

7. We asked General Clark about that recently

He said that he will check at the Pentagon to see if there isn't any recent data. BTW, if the data can be produced, he will be a credible voice in stopping the use of DU. Eric Massa told me that DU is now being phased out. I guess that's something.

Now, what has Warner had to say about DU? And exactly how would he effect the end of it's use? What national security credentials will he be putting on the line. And all of those Senators who authorize the purchase and use of DU, what about them?

The next time General Clark blogs you are certainly free to ask him this question. I suggest that you bring a complete post with the relevant data you've collected. His first major was physics so prepare to back your position with well conducted studies as opposed to anecdotal or flawed data or it will not fly. He'll catch in nano-second.

Anyway, he's looking into it for us, and as I said, Eric told me that DU is out.
