In the film "The Sting" with paul Newman and Robert Redford the people that were in on the caper had a secret sign to identify themselves to each other. They would establish eye contact with another whom they thought might be a compatriot and then raise their right hand to their face ant swipe their index finger across the side of their nose. If the other did the same nose swipe then they knew that each was in on the hijinks.
So...what is the sign for sarcasm?

Russ Feingold finally pinned him down and got him to say that he felt the wire-taps were legal. If he'd been sworn-in, I think he would be liable to perjury charges, that is if the courts hadn't been captured by right wing co-conspirators of Bush/Gonzales.

Or maybe they wouldn't swear him in, because they feared the Democrats would start asking questions about his sex life?
