1. As cranky as the press corps were, it wasn't enough. Someone should
have throw down the gauntlet and called out Scotty. "SCOTTY, EITHER YOU CUT THE CRAP AND BE FORTHCOMING OR WE WILL WALK OUT" "THIS IS A MOCKERY AND AN INSULT TO EVERY AMERICAN CITIZEN. WE DESERVE REAL ANSWERS NOW.

2. From the Bow Tied Boil....(paraphrasing)
..."it's kind of humorous....Why doesn't the press corp go this hard after the Katrina deal??? Why are they so angry over this???" Well how about this-their anger stems from the fact that the Presidents Press Secretary obstructs the press from examining the events surrounding even what they claim was "an unfortunate accident....While it's one thing for scotty to dance while the corp tries to pin the damage on the WH it truly was aggravating in something so "innocent" as this for scotty to refuse to give the truth a Kiss on the cheek like a distant cousin,if not embrace it like something he was fond of....

3. Uh, we're speaking of Tucker Carlson, right?
>.."it's kind of humorous....Why doesn't the press corp go this hard after the Katrina deal??? Why are they so angry over this???"<

Uh, Tucker, clue phone's been ringing, and it's for you, you moronic imbecile.

The press corp DID GO THIS HARD on Katrina, you ignoramus. Evidently, you don't comprehend what you see or read. The press WENT AFTER the White House on their lack of response to Katrina, their lack of responsibility, "heck of a job Brownie" and several of the ancillary issues re: Katrina, but you choose to ignore it because it doesn't fit your agenda, does it?

You're a hack masquerading as a journalist. Do the world a favor and resign now.
Julie
