Fraud nets 15 months for ex-candidate Taff
Adam Taff was the GOP "fair-haired boy" they hoped would unseat Dennis Moore (D) in Kansas 3rd District in 2002. He ran again in the 2004 GOP primary and was narrowly defeated by super-right winger Kris Kobach, who went on to lose to Moore. Mr. "Family Values/Personal Responsibility" was sentenced to 15 months for wire fraud and violating campaign finance laws.

Goes to show that you can be a Republican with no ties to Abramoff, and still get into trouble. Oh, and yes, he also has "remorse" for committing this crime...
