Why does Whittington say it happened Friday?
In his statement I just read you would think it happened Friday....

For many years my family has been friends with the Armstrongs down in Kenedy County. We have visited with them for over 25 years and have had some wonderful trips and visits – pleasant memories that we cherish forever. However, this past weekend encompassed all of us in a cloud of misfortune and sadness that is not easy to explain – especially to those who are not familiar with the great sport of quail hunting.

We all assume certain risks in whatever we do, whatever activities we pursue. And regardless of how experienced, careful and dedicated we are, accidents do and will happen – and that’s what happened last Friday.

9. Ohhhh boy! Thanks for that link... on the same page
Mary Matlin speaks with Katie Couric about the incident.

I just could not go on living without that vital exchange of blow jobs.

3. The blast knocked him silly
according to Katherine Armstrong, in one of her versions of the event.

4. he was probably confused
first of all, I saw him on Tv, he was short of breath and had to pause frequently,
2 of the pellets ended up in his larynx, I don't think they removed any of the
pellets he rec'd, so the fact that he could walk out of the hospital is a miracle,
he probably has a long road to recovery so don't put much stock in the Friday
reference, I had a bad accident 3 years ago, smashed in half my skull, believe
me he's probably in a lot of pain and has some real issues with a lot of
complications from this.

6. To be fair, I get confused about what day it is after a 3 day weekend
even without the trauma of being shot and hospitalized for several days. When one's routine gets throughly messed up, it is easy to lose track of the days.

8. he has to be on pain meds
I have been in a car accident, messed up my foot badly twice, nothing is as painful
as a face/head injury. And he was probably in so much pain that to him it was just
one big day.

7. I got the feeling he wasn't really well enough, but they needed it.
Rove knew he needed Harry at the Mike if they hoped to put a cap on this story. It's interfering with the pres being able to play defense/offense on his talking points. Harry walking out means OVER, to Team Bush.

Now there will be the usual suspects saying "time to move on."
