Free copies of Gore's "wiretap-gate" speech on DVD
This DVD includes Gore's monumental speech on 1/16/06, the MoveOn ad calling for a special prosecutor, and a short 1946 documentary about the warning signs of despotism. It also includes a "call to action" listing the phone number of the Senate switchboard.

I will send free copies to anyone, especially if you plan to make more copies. To receive a free copy, send me a blank DVD-R, and a return mailer with 63 cents postage.

PM me for my mailing address if interested.

1. Is there a link to a site we can download it from?
Probably a lot of us want a copy but not at the cost of giving out our mailing addresses.
Nothing personal, hope you understand. ;)

2. not that I know of, but
it could be uploaded to Archive.org. they are pretty receptive to just about anything.

I am too buried to take this on right now. If someone wants to figure out a way to put it online, I will gladly send them a DVD to source it from.

until then, we'll have to use the mail. keep in mind, you don't have to give me your mailing address electronically. I will give you mine, and then you just send me a blank DVD with a return mailer. you never have to put your address on the computer. no one will see your address but me and I will never write it down or enter it into my computer.

9. Point is, I don't know you from Adam. No offense meant but
personal info like an address sorta undercuts the protection I and others afford ourselves by not going online with our real names and personal data.

Sometimes there are reasons for not divulging a lot to strangers. ;)

4. ahh, but that's just a stream of the speech, doesn't have
chapters and bonus features like the DVD, which can be watched by those without internet or broadband. The streaming link is great for us tech/net savvy folks. The DVD is for everyone, including your right wing neighbor/brother/father-in-law who doesn't know how to turn on a computer, and uses an old coat hanger for a TV antenna!

information.

8. And I thank you. But havoc mom is, well, of the female persuasion
;)
Some of us are just not in love with the idea of giving addresses to strangers on the internet. So, I am grateful for the link. I can live without all the special features. If special features were a major importance, my location would be a large metro area and not the rural area I am in. :D
