So, how DUers are being paid to keep telling us how we don't have
any choice but to vote for whoever they decide we must?

1. Paranoid, much?
What a leading question. "When did you stop beating your wife?"

3. I rather like strawberry preserves myself.
I mean, jelly? C'mon. All sugar and no fruit.

16. Just wondering how it is that these persons can monitor the various rooms
and catch every new thread within minutes any time of the day or night, with the same talking point, over and over.
Just seems suspicious to me. I wouldn't put it past them, the re:puke:s don't have a monopoly on disinformation campaigns.

Just wondering...

6. Huh?
Are you trying to say that DUers say we have to vote for so and so? I haven't noticed that, but what do I know? I'm just a big ol' dumb Iowa boy.

17. Just a couple that I've noticed, each with his/her candidate, and a
suspicious consistency in the message.

8. Maybe I am, but it is strange how many people keep popping up
Edited on Tue Mar-14-06 10:08 AM by greyhound1966
in every thread relating to Janet Dooby Doo, or Daniel Floogson, to tell us that _________, is really the only choice because, "what are you going to do, vote for a re:puke:"? The same person pushing the same potential candidate all day and most of the night.

14. You ever notice all the good jobs are never posted?
I wonder what the job description for that one looks like?

"Wanted: Writers who can post daily to political blogs. Must be willing to shill. Great work-at-home opportunity. Grammer and attention to detail not too important, must be willing to sell soul, if only part-time. If interested contact ________."

12. Paid or not we clearly have our 'ardent supporters'
of various potential national candidates. But what is wrong with that? Until you can't get a word in edgewise because of all the shilling, it is just another post that you can read, ignore, or respond to.

13. WHAT! I haven't got my check in over a two months!
All seriesness aside, I think I actually understand the charge you're making: you think campaign operatives are on the clock posting on DU.

Possibly. Probably. Even if it is true, how would it really be much different than campaign "operatives" appearing on teevee and radio shows, or even airing commercials, "telling us who to vote for?"

Campaigning in the electronic age is a lot different than it used to be back when it was all just glad-handing and whistlestop tours, you know!

Damn, now you've got me off shedule...I was supposed to bash Hillary over in GD at 10:10, then I've got an appointment on KOS to bash her at 10:22!

19. Did you mean to type "How are DU'ers being paid....."?
And the second "how" is unnecessary. To be picky, "whoever" should be "whomever." (Only suggested since since some people have had problems understanding your post.)

People do post their opinions here, whatever their reasons. You are free to object to any specific post.

Please, let us know all about your favorite candidates in the Primaries! (Of course, how do we know you aren't being paid to do so?)
