I have supported Clark, but after tonight if he doesn't win he should
drop out so we have a 2 man race.If he wins he should stay in.I sure hope he wins OK.But if he doesn't and he chooses to drop out,I hope he endorses John Edwards.John Edwards will have my support and I am verry verry happy he had a victory tonight.I will support Kerry if he gets the eventual nomination but at this time I feel that Kerry is being shoved down our throats by the media.I also am worried that the road to the White house going around the south with Kerry being the nominee would be virtually impossibile to navigate, ultimately resulting in a second term of Bush.

1. I'd give him 'til next week...
but I agree, that we're reaching the point where we need to focus on those candidates who have a chance to win.

10. Should Wes not win tonight the media blackout will worsen
making it virtually impossible to overcome Kerry.By staying in it will also effect Edwards, negatively in my opinion. With Edwards being my second choice,I would prefer to see the focus on 2 that are Competitive rather than 2 competitive and 1 hoping for a miracle.

2. F!*k dat!
Why should he endorse Edwards? Why not stay in, or if he must drop out, why not endorse Kerry? I'd think he has a lot more in common with Kerry than with Edwards. Sure, Kerry is being shoved down our throat by the media, but so is Edwards.

5. i will say
that he shouldn't endorse anyone. He's a top-tier VP candidate and he should remain neutral until a candidate is chosen.

Believe me, there's few people who like Clark more than I do. But if he can't win, he should get out of the way. As should all the other candidates who have no shot.

7. The Kerry/Edwards upswing definitely hurt him.
Prior to Iowa, Clark seemed poised for a strong second-place showing behind Dean in NH. Then Kerry and Edwards pulled up front in Iowa, and Clark had to deal with a rather disappointing third place.

I like Wes Clark a great deal. In fact, I was one of the people who wrote him a letter asking him to run. But it is becoming increasingly unlikely that he will be the Democratic nominee in November.

Make him Secretary of State in a Democratic administration, and I think I'll be happy.

9. If Clark drops out I'm going Kucinich.
At least I'll have a clear conscience. But I don't think the General is going anywhere.

11. Clark should NOT drop out. We have a long way to go. Don't play
the he's should drop out if he doesn't win tonight game. Bill Clinton is proof positive that staying in the race until the end pays off.

15. You got it!
This fellow Husker is still in it too. Clark is the ONLY guy who can take our state. THE ONLY ONE. He's the only one that can take the southwest and the midwest and the south.

GOTTA BE CLARK !

13. I disagree -
If he has the money to continue he should go on till Saturday and see what happens with MI and WA. The last thing I want is to force Clark and Edwards out leaving Dean to run a two way race with Kerry. That, IMHO would tear the party apart.

14. The media has decided: He wins and loses
He will win OK tonight which they will consider a loss. Why? He "camped out" in OK and smothered it. "Nobody else" competed against him. He put all his eggs in the OK basket. Etc., etc.

You know the narrative. Just fill in the blanks.

The media and Terry McAuliffe would like nothing more. No. He has way too much money and support....he's not going anywhere.

17. It's too early for that. Any drop outs should come by Super 2sday.
Let's dance a few more rounds before picking a permenant partner folks. Love is worth waiting for and so are strong nominees. I generally would like Edwards over Kerry. I doubt Kerry's electibility. But I want Wesley to spin me round the dance floor for the next couple of numbers (I'm looking forward to doing the Chattanooga Choo Choo, frankly).

Of course ABB, but let's rub uglies a bit longer before climaxing, OK?
