The Day after Fitzmas: Pardon Uncle Karl and Dick (preemptively or not)
.. Now watch this drive!!

Or: watch this unilateral war against Iran, or witness still another unchallenged assault against civil liberties and the Constitution. Same diff, the purposeful destruction of America will continue unabated.

Does anybody seriously doubt what the reaction will be by Chimpus DestroyUs upon hearing that one or both hemispheres of his brain have been indicted? (That would be after he has looked up 'indicted' in the Weekly Reader).

"If they've been indicted, well, that just means the Decider can outdict them, right? Right??"

"Of course you can, sir. Just issue the pardons, and keep the bad liberal truthiness off by launching Operation Persian Petrol."

1. Not a strategist...but think that pardoning Libby and Rove
would be political suicide.
Very bad move. Think he'll try it on?

5. Virtually everything he has said or done would be political suicide
under ordinary times and circumstances. Unfortunately, the political bedrock has been shifted under an onslaught of legal/constitutional redrafting by the administration, a faithful recertation of mis-facts by the MSM, and an appalling lack of awareness or concern by the voting masses.

Despite his 29% approval ratings, I believe the Prezisn't and his minions would readily pardon Rove, Cheney, Libby, or Rasputin, without a shrug.

4. Pardon will only happen when both are literally hours from the Crowbar....
Motel. With all the leagal wrangling that is to come it will likely be finished about the same time Bush is finished. Then you will see pardons.

7. I don't think even a signing statement would cover that...
That "damn piece of paper" expressly forbids it...and some people still take it rather seriously.
