I smell some real ugly this morning.

I smell hate

I smell disdain

I smell dirty politics

I smell bad laws

I smell criminals walking free

I smell professional political theatre posing as governance

I smell bad news covered up with perfume and powder, with some Right Guard in its pits

I smell liars held up as truth tellers

I smell a bad wind

The smell is blowing on that bad wind

That bad wind is blowing out of the Spring

That bad wind is blowing toward November

That bad wind carries to stink of ugly.
