40 years ago today - an incredibly Sad Anniversary for Conservatives
13 June 1966 - the Supreme Court ruled in Miranda v Arizona that criminal suspects must be informed of their constitutional rights prior to questioning by police.

The UCMJ is actually very progressive in regards to Miranda issues - damn Liberal Military!

3. I did a tour as a
Chief Master at Arms and prosecutors in the Navy had to dot every I and cross every T. The rights of the accused were well taken care of by the UCMJ.
