What the RNC really laments about the Iraq War

It's not that it's caused 100,000 dead Iraqis.

It's not that the price tag might be over a trillion dollars.

It's not that Bush's approval rating is in the toilet in the low thirties.

In the sociopathetic partisan realm where people like Cheney, Rove operate the biggest problem with the way the war has gone is that has failed to created significant divisions the Democratic party as did the Vietnam war.

The Neocons and the Republicans were counting on the Iraq war to be a very effective wedge issue to fracture the Democratic party.

It didn't work this go around. And that's why the Republicans are F*YOU-SEE-KAYD.
