"Well, Karl, what do we do now? I thought the Supremes were on our side?"
"First of all, we will say that we will abide by whatever the Supreme Court rules..."
"But...what about all our other plans..??
"Dubya, the Supreme Court cannot rule on anything if they don't have the information. We really need to crack down on these leaks. The NY Times should burn in hell."
"So, what do we do if our secret plans with Khadafi are found out about? Or if someone exposes the phone calls and communcications we had with Sharon of Israel before we invaded Iraq? What if they find out that we now have Chalabi on the CIA payroll and that he is going to be the future leader of Iraq? What if they find out about our plans to dismantle the Social Security Administration and the IRS? What do we do then??"
"We won't worry about that. We just deny it. But with this Supreme Court decision, we will need to make a few minor adjustments."
"Like what?"
"Well, the Supremes said we would have to involve the Congress. We can do that. These weak-minded Congressmen are easy to persuade. We should have no problem convincing them of the "national security" risks involved in whatever we need to tell them...I don't think we should be too concerned about this Court decision. We can find a way around it...Like we always do with everything else...Do you doubt me on this one, Dubya?"
"No Karl. I have complete faith in your judgements. We'll crack down on those leakers first thing in the morning..."
