Rumsfeld Says He Has Bush's Confidence
Well...that makes three (scrub, rummy and wolfie)

MANAGUA, Nicaragua (AP) -- Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, coming under renewed fire for his management of the Iraq war, said Sunday he is not considering resigning and said the president had called him personally in recent days to express his continued support.

SNIP

Asked by reporters if he had recently considered resigning, Rumsfeld said, "No."

2. Didn't Colin Powell say the same thing?

While serving for awhile as a pawn in a deadly game?

5. This is weird if true.
Bob Woodword claims that Laura wanted Busholini to fire Rumsfailed but was rebuffed by Busholini. I think that Rumsfailed is strongly backed by Cheney and Rove. Busholini was told by them that he could not fire Rumsfailed because it would be admitting gross failure in Iraq and Afghanistan.
