ABC's Path to 911 and Foley IMs

Since ABC aired a docudrama about 911 filled with inacurracies and heavily slanted against the dems, I can't help but wonder if they were thrown a "bone" by Rove on this Foley outing? Like ok ABC, you took some heat, did our bidding, now have a juicy story (IMs) that will consume the media between now and the midterm. Many states have amendments on Gay marriage this midterm and what better way to turn out the gay hating republican base at the polls then to talk nonstop the next few weeks about this pedophile, who may or may not be gay and defeat these amendments?
