Woodard's "State of Denial"-We Already Knew

I am not trying to bash Woodard's book, in fact I am happy he is putting out this book. However, liberals have known what was in this book for years. During his interview on the Today Show, Woodard pointed out that Rumsfeld did not listen to the generals in the Pentagon. For years liberals have been pointing to the fact that Rumsfeld retired 50 generals as proof that Rumsfeld was not listening to anyone who did not tell him what he wanted to hear. Liberals have for some time specualted that generals had become scared of losing their jobs, so they just told Rumsfeld what he wanted to hear. So even though this book is great in that it finally proves what liberals have been saying for years, we liberals already know what is in this book and have known for years. Yes, I will read this book as soon as possible.

and have been complaining loudly to the denials of the Bush regime. What Woodward has (in many cases) are taped interviews of the criminals ratting out their fellow cabal members. He's also assuredly keeping some damning info back to keep the administration at arms length. Should be an interesting week as he defends his book as only his thin-skinned ass can.
